Policies and safety information.

These sections explain how Healing Self Compass handles website privacy, coaching boundaries, scheduling, payments, accessibility, and urgent resources.

Privacy and safe contact

This website uses no analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, social embeds, remote fonts, or marketing cookies. A secure, first-party cookie is used to protect consultation submissions against forged requests.

Consultation requests are processed on a Cloudfanatic-hosted website server and sent through Google Workspace to . The email contains the contact and scheduling information and contact permissions you submit. The website does not keep a database of request bodies. It keeps keyed, non-readable identifiers and timing metadata to limit abuse and prevent duplicate delivery; uncertain deliveries are held for manual review. Inquiry emails are retained in HSC’s Google Workspace mail system. If an inquiry does not lead to a client relationship, its correspondence is deleted 90 days after the inquiry is closed. Complaint, safety, payment, insurance and legal records follow their separate retention requirements. Contact the same address to request access, correction or deletion of your inquiry information. Please use a contact method that is safe for you.

Please share only what is needed to arrange a consultation: a name, timezone, possible meeting times, and a safe way to reply. Do not send detailed trauma histories, medical or legal records, or urgent safety information through the website.

Email is the default first-contact method. The request asks separately whether HSC may call, text, leave a voicemail, or use a neutral sender name or subject line. No other method is assumed. Requests are reviewed inside approved business systems and are not forwarded to personal accounts.

Website terms of use

This website provides general information about Healing Self Compass and its coaching and educational services. Website content is not individualized coaching, psychotherapy, medical or mental-health treatment, legal advice, crisis care, or a substitute for a qualified professional. Visiting the site or sending a request does not by itself create a client relationship.

Unless otherwise identified, HSC owns or has permission to use the site's original text, design, photographs, and brand materials. Visitors may use the site for personal informational purposes but may not misrepresent, sell, republish, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.

Links to third-party resources are provided for convenience and do not imply control, endorsement, continuous availability, or responsibility for those services. Visitors should review each provider's current terms and privacy practices.

Client agreement, scheduling, and payments

Prices and price ranges are not published on this website. Pricing is discussed during the first conversation and confirmed in writing before any paid service is booked or payment is taken.

For individual appointments, cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours in advance carries no fee and returns any prepayment. Less than 24 hours or a no-show carries a charge of 50% of the session fee. HSC may waive that charge for emergencies, safety concerns, or significant technical failures without requiring invasive proof.

If HSC cancels, the client chooses a full refund or rescheduling. Completed sessions are nonrefundable; duplicate or incorrect charges are corrected in full. Repeated missed appointments may require prepayment or a pause before further scheduling. Groups, workshops, and speaking receive separate written deposit and cancellation terms.

A person receives the applicable terms and price in writing before agreeing or paying.

Coaching scope and safety

Healing Self Compass provides coaching and education, not psychotherapy or licensed mental-health treatment. Services do not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or legal care. The consultation is a fit conversation, not a coaching or crisis session.

The M Initiative is in development and is not available to request. It is not legal advice, legal representation, crisis response, or a substitute for a qualified professional.

Accessibility

Healing Self Compass is committed to making its website and digital information accessible and usable for people with disabilities. The site is being designed for keyboard access, visible focus, semantic headings and landmarks, text resizing, narrow screens, reduced motion, forced colors, descriptive alternatives, and information that does not depend on color alone.

If a visitor encounters a barrier or needs website information in another format, the visitor may use the contact request to identify the page, describe the barrier, and request reasonable assistance.

This statement describes an ongoing commitment rather than a guarantee that every third-party service or document is immediately barrier-free. HSC will document reported barriers, prioritize meaningful access, and communicate available alternatives while a problem is addressed.

The Quick Exit opens weather.gov without sending referrer information, but it cannot erase browser, device, network, or account history. Crisis-resource information is reviewed on a continuing schedule.
